Day1:
After the 2 hour plane ride and who-knows-how-many-hours bus ride, everyone was exhausted and just passed out on our beds at about 1 o’clock in the morning!
Day 2:
Due to the heavy rainfall, we weren’t able to go to the amusement park. Instead, we went to the World Financial Center. The tower was…tall. The highlight of this day, however, was the circus. At first, I thought the circus was going to be just a bunch of animals running around. I was way beyond wrong. I can’t even explain how amazing it was. So many people came out and showed off their talent: tricks that was no where near ordinary! Human beings are not supposed to do things like that with their bodies! The show was like Huaxiacheng but 1000 times more impressive.
Day 3:
We woke up at 6 to go to the amusement park. It took the longest time to get there, but it was absolutely worth the long ride. The amusement park was filled with the most thrilling rollercoasters. Jun, June and Daniel were scared to go on the rides, so Gilbert, Jake and I made them go on at least one ride. They’re such girls! Anyways, we all had fun and it was a good chance to face our fears-I mean “our” as in the boys’. We finished the day off with some shopping at Nanjing Road and a trip to the Bund. I personally felt like I bonded with everyone the most on this day. We got to know who’s scared of what and who’s a heavy shopper.
Day 4:
There’s not much that can be said about this day because we literally just shopped at the mall. Well, most people went shopping, but Jun, June and I went to the arcade and spent over 100 RMB on games. I wanted to play more games so the boys had to drag me out of there. After a few hours at the mall, we went to the airport, took our plane, rode the bus to haishangmingzhu and came home.
I didn’t expect the trip to be fun for some unknown reason, but it was just the opposite. I had a blast with all of my friends and our teachers. If I could, I would go back and re-live all of the memories I had there.
