This year’s Zhongshi festival has come and gone. Every year, the Zhongshi festival is similar, but we never get bored of this event. It can be seen as our school’s traditional event. From primary to upper school, all showed creative ideas that I could never think of. The best thing was the food, of course. We can never deny this because people are born to eat!
But it was not just the morning activities that were great, the afternoon was also amazing. I was the MC of the Talent Festival, which meant that I couldn’t enjoy all the acts as much as I would have liked, however, I could see that they were amazing. Everyone exceeded my expectations. I hope to see even more amazing performances next year.

November 20th, our school had a fascinating event called the Zhongshi festival. I think this event is enjoyable for everyone, and gives opportunities for students to display their talents. Before this festival, I did not know that so many of our students were so good at playing instruments, dancing, singing, cooking, and drawing. Also, I believe that having the Korean school students perform as well was a great idea, because we could enjoy the experience together. I think this was the most organized and memorable event in our school. I hope more students will participate in the festival next year and make it even more fun.

Which type of musical performance do you prefer? Instrumental performance, dancing, or singing? Whichever one you chose, it didn’t matter at the Zhongshi festival. As it has always been in the past, this year’s festival was also amazing! Most of the international school’s performances were more related to musical performances, while the Korean school’s performances were more related to dancing and singing. However, the most impressive performance was a solo saxophone rendition by David Kang. Although he played by himself, the volume was powerful enough to fill the big concert hall with harmonious music, moving the entire audiences’ hearts. He inspired me to begin to learn a musical instrument, and I hope that I can be one of the performers at the next Zhongshi festival.
