Model United Nations offers students an opportunity to participate in “model” conferences in which delegates role play representatives of different nations debating current world affairs. Through these conferences students develop an awareness of world issues as well as public speaking and diplomatic skills.

Through MUN classes in Grades 6-10 students become familiar with the format of Model United Nations conferences. They develop the language and skills required to participate effectively in conferences.

In January we hold an internal conference (MUNZIS) and all upper school students have the opportunity to debate current world issues.

Throughout the year high school students have the opportunity to represent the school at MUN conferences around China, including MUNISC in Qingdao and Westlake MUN in Hangzhou.
